1. Agreement
By installing or using Lumo (“the app”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.
2. What you may do
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you control, for your own record-keeping. You may not resell it, redistribute a modified copy, or attempt to reverse-engineer it except where the law expressly allows.
3. Lumo is a record-keeping tool, not financial advice
The app records what you enter and does arithmetic on it. It does not give financial, tax, accounting or investment advice, does not connect to your bank, and does not move money. Decisions you make based on what you see in the app are your own.
4. Exchange rates
Currency conversion uses public reference rates downloaded at most once a day from
exchangerate-api.com (free open.er-api.com
endpoint), with an open-source rate file as fallback. Rates are indicative: they are not
the rate a bank or exchange will give you, they can be delayed, and each transaction keeps the rate of the
day it was recorded so your history does not shift. When no rate is available, the app shows the original
amount rather than inventing a number.
5. Your data is yours — and it is on your device
All records live in the app’s storage on your phone. There is no cloud copy on our side, so we cannot restore your data if you lose your phone, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall it. If you want a copy, enable Android backup on your device (see the Privacy Policy).
6. Advertising
The app is free and shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. We do not control which ads are shown and are not responsible for third-party content or the sites an ad leads to.
7. No warranty
The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise it will be free of bugs or that calculations will fit every accounting practice. Please verify anything that matters.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data arising from use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
9. Changes and availability
Features may change between versions, and the app may be updated or withdrawn from Google Play. Material changes to these terms will be published on this page with a new date.
